My Journey
If you've made it this far, allow me to formally introduce myself. My name is Quentin Coombs, and I've had a passion for technology since a young age. Born and raised in Tampa, FL my early exposure to technology came through helping family and friends with their devices. I begrudgingly helped to fix the Wi-Fi disconnections or assisted the elderly with downloading an app on their phone. This early exposure to technology sparked my interest and set me on a path to pursue a career in IT.
I have always been fascinated by the ever-evolving world of technology and its impact on our daily lives. This curiosity led me to pursue a degree in Information Technology, where I gained a solid foundation in networking, security, and cloud computing.
Over the years, I have honed my skills in various software suites, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity practices. Additionally, I have built and worked on projects that have allowed me to apply my knowledge in real-world scenarios, from developing web applications to implementing secure cloud infrastructures.
My Goals
My goal is to continue growing into more advanced cloud and infrastructure-focused roles where I can solve complex technical problems, improve system reliability, and deepen my expertise especially across cloud operations, networking, automation, and troubleshooting. I’m especially interested in work that allows me to investigate issues, understand how systems interact, and contribute to practical solutions rather than simply follow repetitive processes.
Long term, I strive to build the technical depth and experience to become a trusted specialist, consultant, and subject-matter expert in cloud infrastructure. Until then, I am excited to continue learning, growing, and contributing to innovative projects that make a difference in the ever-expanding world of IT.
